What to do if your Classic mats have been soaked in water or have mold or mildew
It is highly advisable to have the surface of your mat tested by an independent lab. However, please note that our recommendations do not guarantee the preservation of your mat. Each situation and type of damage is unique and may vary.
- Move the Classic Mats out of the room
Take the mats and any underlayment out of the room and unroll them in a dry area. - Get them Dry
Use a fan and airflow to dry out the mats as quickly as possible - Properly clean The Mats (More Cleaner is not better and can damage your mat)

Make sure to always follow the cleaners care and handling instructions - Testing Mat Surface
We recommend having the surface of your mats tested to make sure more cleaning or replacement mats are not needed. - Mats are Cleaned and Tested
The mats are ready to be moved back into the wrestling room.
It is important to note that certain stains may be difficult to completely remove from the mat. Some stains maybe permeant.
Note: If underlayment is damage and can not be cleaned it is best to replace it.
Ensure that any issues in the facility are repaired before bringing the mats back into the space.
