How to Add a Starting Line on a Wrestling Mat

Here is step by step on how to paint starting lines on a wrestling mat

Tools Needed:

1) Find Center of circle – use white chalk to mark center location

2) Strike Chalk Lines ( horizontal / vertical )

3) Place / center the template BELOW the horizontal chalk line

4) Use 1” wide masking tape to tape a box around the template

5) Remove template

6) Place tape ( horizontal ) inside the box
( approx.. 1” Above bottom tape / approx.. 1” Below top tape )

7) Tape ( vertical ) lines to form RED / GREEN

8) Activate with solvent

9) Use a small roller to paint lines – apply two light coats – rather than 1 heavy coat

10) Paint the RED / GREEN lines – ( Red on RIGHT / Green on Left )

11) Allow to dry for 15 minutes. Remove masking tape when finished
